Synopsis: The movie Like a Bad Dream unravels several destinies of common people, frustrated by their surroundings, burdened by the traumas from the war, who came to the world metropolis, trying to erase that part of their life which seemed Like a Bad Dream.
Occasionally, the characters easily communicate, gently touch each other, but without possibility for influencing each other.
The main character of the plot is THE SEITAN (The Devil), brought into the Balkan wars by destiny. He says: "I killed, I raped, and somebody else started it, somebody else said 'Let's go'." His love to IKONIA is the beautiful dream. "We will turn back time and will start all over, you are so away it hurts."
The pain of the individual is a metaphor of tormented world.
Another character in the movie is IVAN, young man in his 20s, who comes to a big city after receiving a scholarship. He managed to avoid the Balkans' wars. Self-confident and content, he attends the lectures of the PROFESSOR.
In the professor's home, Ivan loses control under the influence of drugs and alcohol, and is being raped. The awakening is painful. The only thing he wants to do is to go back home to Macedonia and to the woman he loves.
Based on the play: "Who The F Started All This".
